ISLAMABAD, Aug 17 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) Senator Mushahidullah Khan Wednesday said Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf Chief Imran Khan was working on a foreign agenda to destabilize the country and malign national institutions.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Imran Khan neither have trust in institutions of the country nor he accepted their decisions.
He said Imran demanded for a Judicial commission to investigate rigging allegations in General Elections 2013 and when the commission was formed on his demand and gave verdict against him, he refused to accept the decision.
The senator said PTI chief first abused Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and later went to the same to file reference against the Prime Minster, which showed his confused state of mind.
Mushahidullah said PTI and other opposition parties were working on one point agenda of protest and creating chaos in the country. PTI and PAT’s sit in in 2014 delayed heavy investment by China in Pakistan, he added.
He said purpose of PTI’s protests was to create hurdle in economic activities and execution of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which was a game changer project.
To a question, he said the government had no fear and was ready for accountability on Panama papers at any forum but it wanted to held accountable all those who were named in the same documents.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had presented himself
and his family for investigations soon after revelations of the Panama
papers, despite the fact that his name was not mentioned in the Papers.
Senator Mushahidulllah said PTI chief himself and his companions
were champions of corruption and they had admitted their wrongdoings.
Imran Khan was transferring charity funds to his personal account and this was how he was cheating the masses, he added.
