ISLAMABAD, Apr 11 (APP): Former Captain Aamir Sohail has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to improve domestic circuit in the country instead of appointing a new foreign coach.
Talking to APP, Aamir said the coach can only teach strategies to the players but the talent comes up from the domestic level which is lacking. “I cannot understand why PCB is in a hurry to do things quickly,” he said.
He also advised the PCB not to rush in making Twenty20 Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed the captain of all three formats. “I am not against in giving him the captaincy but give him gradually,” he said adding let him settle down first in the T20 format.
