Haris Rauf emerged the most economical and successful bowler of the Lahore Qalandars attack and conceded 22 runs for two.wickets off his four overs.
Team Director Sameen Rana has said that Haris Rauf is an asset to the team and he was relieved that Haris did not sustain a major injury or a broken bone.
He said the team did not want to push the ace fast bowler into action as he is a national asset.
He assured the Lahore Qalandars fans that the team was determined and focused on delivering strong performances in the remaining PSL matches.
Captain Lahore Qalandars Shaheen Afridi said
Haris’ injury is, indeed, a setback to the franchise, but he is also Pakistan’s main bowler, and with a lot of cricket coming up, a pragmatic approach was to give him maximum time to recover.
Afridi wished Haris a speedy recovery, adding that our thoughts and support are with him during this challenging time.
