ISLAMABAD, Feb 19 (APP):The 9th Al Baraka Bank National Road Cycling Championship kicked off on Wednesday, running from February 20 to 23, 2025 in Capital.
According to a press released issued by PCF, this exciting event brought together top cyclists from across Pakistan to compete in a series of road races.
Organized by the Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) in partnership with Al Baraka Bank, the championship aimed to promote competitive cycling and highlight the skills of the nation’s best riders.
Races would take place along Jinnah Avenue, Iran Avenue and at the Pakistan Sports Board testing grounds, challenging participants’ endurance, speed and strategy.
Cyclists from various affiliated units of the PCF would participate in different race categories, showcasing their talent on a national stage.
The prize distribution ceremony is set to be held at the Pakistan Sports Board.
Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President of the PCF, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This championship is a significant step in promoting road cycling in Pakistan. We are excited to witness the talent and dedication of our cyclists and hope to see more young riders take up the sport in the future.”
