Film ‘Anarkali’ to be screened on Saturday

ISLAMABAD, May 6 (APP): Lok Virsa Mandwa Film Club would organize screening of classic film “Anarkali” on Saturday at Virsa Media Centre.

It was a big musical film of 1958 by Madam Noor Jehan with two music directors, Rasheed Attre and Master Inayat Hussain consisting of a very famous song “Sada Hoon Apnay Pyar Ki”.

The film Producer was Mukhtar Ahmad and directed by Anwar Kemal Pasha. While the story was written by Imtiaz Ali Taj. The film actors were, Noor Jehan (as Anarkali), Sudhir (as Shahzada Saleem), Ragni (as Dilaram),Shamim Ara, Zarif, Fazal Haq and Hamalia Wala (as Akbar The Great).
