RAWALPINDI, Sep 26 (APP): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Saifullah held a meeting at the SDPO Office Kahuta to review the performance of police officers and the progress of investigations into various cases.
The meeting was attended by DSP Kahuta, SHOs of Kahuta Circle, investigation officers and clerical staff. SSP Saifullah reviewed the performance of the officers individually and issued necessary directions for improving investigations and police operations.
He directed the officers to ensure the arrest of suspects involved in murder and other serious cases and dispose of cases strictly on merit. He also called for intensified action against proclaimed offenders (POs) their facilitators and repeat offenders.
The SSP directed senior officers to personally supervise investigations into serious and important cases. He further stressed the need for effective investigation and prosecution to ensure the conviction of drug dealers.
Saifullah also directed police officials to treat citizens visiting police stations with courtesy and give priority to resolving their legitimate problems.
