SSP Investigation calls for merit-based investigations, timely justice
RAWALPINDI, Aug 19 (APP):Newly appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Saifullah held an introductory meeting with branch heads of the City Police Officer (CPO) Office at Police Lines Headquarters after assuming charge.
During the meeting, SSP Investigation Saifullah directed officers to ensure effective public service delivery at all police stations and offices and to address citizens’ issues without delay.
He ordered officers to ensure the arrest of suspects involved in murder and other serious crimes and to conclude cases strictly on merit. He stressed that all available resources must be utilized to protect the lives and property of citizens and ensure the provision of justice.
The SSP directed investigation officers to ensure convictions through professional investigations and effective prosecution of cases. He also ordered that pending cases under investigation be resolved at the earliest on the basis of facts and evidence.
Saifullah further directed officers to launch a comprehensive crackdown against proclaimed offenders (POs) and their facilitators. He reiterated that protecting citizens’ lives and property and ensuring justice should remain the top priorities of the police force.
