FAISALABAD, Aug 21 (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), during a crackdown, arrested two agents from outside the passport office here on Friday.
According to spokesperson, the accused identified as Naseer Ahmed, son of Noor Muhammad, and Muhammad Saeed, son of Khushi Muhammad were involved in extending illegal support to citizens for getting passports in exchange for extorting heavy fees.
During the operation, the FIA team also recovered multiple passports and other relevant documents from the possession of the accused.
FIA team initiated the legal proceedings against accused.
Further investigation was underway.
