An attractive food and entertainment project with title “Bahawalpur Junction” has been installed at Fareed Gate, a commercial hub of the city. The project is designed by the Punjab government as part of beautification of the city to attract more tourists to the region. A bogie of Pakistan Railways is brought at the project site and converted into a standard restaurant where waiters dressed in uniform of railway Qulies serve foods to the visitors.
