Tariq directs CDA to remove shanties from list of illegal societies

ISLAMABAD, Apr 15 (APP): Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Friday directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to remove the name of shanties from the list of illegal housing societies of the capital.

Chairing a meeting here, he directed CDA officials to lift the
ban on the provision of electricity and gas connections in rural areas of the Islamabad.

He said that native citizens of the city had been residing
here since long and they have no link with the present illegal housing societies.
