ISLAMABAD, Apr 13 (APP):Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) has established a special desk at Islamabad Airport to welcome Overseas Pakistanis who are coming from different parts of the globe to attend the International Overseas Convention.
A large number of overseas Pakistanis are arriving in Islamabad to participate in the convention,
Overseas Pakistanis have been given the status of state guest on the instructions of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, said a press release here on Sunday.
A cultural food festival and folk music will be organized in honor of overseas Pakistanis at Lok Virsa today evening.
The inaugural session of the convention will be held on April 14, which will be attended by the Chairman Senate.
Meetings of SIFC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, NADRA will be held in the convention, OPF, State Bank and FBR,there will be side meetings.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, cabinet members and members of parliament will also attend the Overseas convention.
