SP Saddar Zone Kazim sets anti-crime priorities, orders full-throttle action under ‘No to Weapon’ Drive
ISLAMABAD, Aug 23 (APP):Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi chaired an important meeting with officers of Tarnol Circle, reviewing the crime situation and directing intensified action against criminal elements, illegal weapons, display of arms and aerial firing.
An official told APP on Sunday that the meeting reviewed in detail the overall crime situation, progress in criminal cases, pending investigations and ongoing action against criminal elements, said a press release here.
SP Kazim directed officers to strengthen crime-prevention measures and ensure effective action against offenders across the circle.
He ordered vigorous action under Islamabad Police’s “No to Weapon” campaign against possession of illegal arms, display of weapons and aerial firing.
The SP Kazim also reviewed pending investigations and directed officers to improve the pace and quality of investigative work.
He stressed that effective measures should be taken to provide swift justice to citizens, while sustained action against criminal elements should continue to maintain a safe and peaceful environment.
