ISLAMABAD, Apr 09 (APP):Safe City Islamabad is set to launch a comprehensive CCTV and Network Technician training course, open to all citizens of the federal capital, regardless of age or educational background.
An official told APP that the course will span two weeks and aims to equip participants with practical skills in security system installation, monitoring, and maintenance.
He said the program will cover the installation and repair of analogue, IP, PTZ, and thermal cameras, alongside training on the use of surveillance equipment for real-time monitoring and activity recording.
He said participants will also be taught how to store data on DVRs, NVRs, and cloud storage devices, including techniques for upgrading backup recordings.
He said the course will feature detailed sessions on networking hardware such as routers, switches, and fiber optics, with troubleshooting procedures in case of malfunctions.
He said trainees will also be shown how to monitor systems via mobile applications to enhance real-time surveillance capabilities.
He said public and private security awareness will be emphasized throughout the course, preparing participants to handle various security scenarios.
He said certificates will be distributed among participants upon the successful completion of the training program.
