Receipants of BISP can directly approach for redressal of problems: Marvi Memon

HYDERABAD, Jan 16 (APP): Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Marvi Memon has said if any one deduct a single penny from the BISP beneficiaries amount, affected person can either approach her or even lodge complaint in this regard with police.
“Lodge the complaint with local police, if any one deduct any penny from your amount because your are beneficiaries of BISP and getting full payment is your right,” she remarked.
She expressed these views at a breakfast meeting with BISP beneficiaries early Saturday morning at Village Khandu about 50 kilometers away from here.
” I came here to know about your issues you are facing while dealing with officials of BISP and other related departments and to get assure that whether you are receiving full amount of payment we are paying to support you,” she said during her discussion with
them.
“Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has assigned her this task to support you and she will take all possible steps in this regards,” she said.
She pointed out that BISP sends installment of Rs.4500 (Rs 1500×3+4500) for recipient and “you should receive same amount not lesser than this money,”.
She said “if you receive less money,it shows that someone had cheated you.”
The affected person, she pointed out can lodge complaint either with me or BISP center and even with local police as such step would discourage cheaters. For easy and convenient
access to her, Ms. Marvi distributed her business cards among the BISP beneficiaries.
She said that BISP was launching re-survey to include women who were poor and oppressed but could not be included in the programme as beneficiary in the previous survey.
On the occasion, she also directed officials to address grievances and issues raised on the occasion with her for immediate resolution.
Mithan Solangi and other women said that there were numerous women who were poor but not beneficiaries of this programme because they had not get CNIC due to complicated process.Director BISP, Ziaullah Bhutto said that after taking charge of BISP, Ms Marvi had resolved various issues of beneficiaries.” This is a good opportunity for beneficiaries to share their problems with Ms. Marvi Memon in person instead of going to meet
her at her office”, he said.It is her commitment where head of department goes door by
door and visit people to know their problems on the spot, he said adding that directives are being issued on the spot for their re-addressal.

Saeedabad Sahiba, Shafqat Ahmed and other officials were present
on the occasion.
