ISLAMABAD, Mar 17 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Monday met with former minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar, discussed the development of Pakistan Railways and the challenges ahead.
On the occasion, Shahid Ashraf congratulated Hanif Abbasi on assuming his new office and extended his best wishes for the successful operation and improvement of Pakistan Railways.
Shahid Ashraf also expressed his deep sorrow over the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express. He strongly condemned the attack and expressed solidarity with the affected passengers and their families.
The minister appreciated the contributions of Shahid Ashraf , acknowledging the importance of the experience and guidance of previous leadership in strengthening and improving Pakistan Railways.
He also discussed ongoing projects and operational matters, reaffirming his commitment to modernizing the railway system with the collaboration of all the stakeholders.
Both leaders expressed mutual respect and goodwill during the meeting, reaffirming their dedication to ensuring the continued progress and stability of Pakistan Railways.
