Protecting women’s interests national duty: Zahid Hamid

ISLAMABAD, March 8 (APP): Minister for Human Rights Zahid Hamid has termed protecting interests of women ‘national duty’ and expressed firm resolve to provide them equal opportunities without any discrimination. “I hope that the relevant UN agencies, corporate sector, civil society organizations and media will play a proactive role in supporting and supplementing the government’s efforts to create a gender parity environment at each level where women could enjoy equal rights without discrimination,” he said in his message on the International Women’s Day being observed on March 8.
