ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday visited the residence of martyred Captain Hamza Akram and met his father and brother to express condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.
The minister also offered Fateha and prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks, paying tribute to Captain Hamza Akram’s sacrifice in the line of duty.
During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the courage and determination shown by the father of the martyred officer.
Captain Hamza Akram’s father said that his son sacrificed his life for Pakistan and that his other son was also ready to serve the country whenever needed.
“My son Hamza sacrificed himself for Pakistan. My second son is also available for Pakistan,” he said.
The father further stated that Captain Hamza had made the family proud through his sacrifice and bravery.
“Hamza has raised our heads with pride,” he said, adding, “If Pakistan exists, we exist. Without Pakistan, there is nothing.”
Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said the entire nation takes pride in the courage and resolve displayed by parents like Captain Hamza Akram’s father. He said the strength of the country comes from the sacrifices and commitment of officers such as Captain Hamza.
The interior minister said Captain Hamza Akram demonstrated exceptional bravery by eliminating seven Khawarij militants before embracing martyrdom. He added that the sacrifice and courage shown by the fallen officer would continue to inspire the nation.
Mohsin Naqvi said every drop of blood shed by Captain Hamza Akram and other martyrs serves as a guarantee for the protection and security of the homeland. He stated that the nation can never fully repay the sacrifices made by Captain Hamza Akram and his family.
The minister also said that Captain Hamza’s memory would remain alive in the hearts of the people and that his services and sacrifice for the country would never be forgotten.
Captain Hamza Akram was martyred while bravely fighting Khawarij militants in Hangu. His sacrifice is remembered as part of the country’s ongoing efforts to safeguard national security and protect its people
