Mir Ali Operation martyr laid to rest with full military honours

RAWALPINDI, Sep 24 (APP): The funeral prayers of, Shaheed, Sepoy Shakeel Shafqat who embraced martyrdom a day earlier during an intelligence-based operation against the terrorists in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, were offered on Sunday in his native village Kabirwala of Khanewal district.

The martyr was buried with full military honours, an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said.

Military and civil officials, relatives of the martyr and people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayer, it said.
