IGP Sohail reviews public facilitation projects, orders better traffic management
ISLAMABAD, Sep 21 (APP):Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry reviewed public facilitation projects and directed senior officers to further improve traffic management and make police services easier and more accessible for citizens.
An official told APP on Monday that the IGP Sohail held a meeting with DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq and other senior officers to discuss professional and administrative matters and measures for providing timely and effective police services to citizens.
The meeting reviewed different citizen facilitation projects being undertaken by Islamabad Police and discussed ways to further improve service delivery.
Sohail directed officers to focus on measures that could make it easier for citizens to access police services and get their issues addressed without unnecessary delay.
The IGP Rizvi also issued directions to further improve traffic management in the federal capital and introduce practical measures to facilitate commuters.
He stressed effective coordination among concerned officers to improve public services and ensure that citizen facilitation remained a key focus of Islamabad Police.
