ISLAMABAD, Sep 09 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Potohar region, Kashmir and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country.
A Shallow westerly wave has approached northern/western parts of the country from Monday night.
During the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country.
The highest maximum temperatures recorded during the period were Sibbi, Dalbandin 42C, Bhakkar, Nokkundi, Sukkur and Khairpur 41C.
