ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP):Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan on Sunday emphasized the importance of setting aside political differences to ensure Pakistan’s economic and social progress.
During meetings with tribal leaders, elders, and representatives from various communities of Balochistan, he stressed the need for collective action and unity. “This is not the time for division but for unity and consensus to address challenges and provide relief to the common man,” he remarked.
Syedaal Khan said that the country is at a critical juncture, requiring wise and forward-thinking decisions to secure a prosperous future. He highlighted the role of all stakeholders in driving national development and prosperity.
“Facing national, regional, and global challenges demands a constructive approach that transcends political affiliations,” he said.
The Deputy Chairman praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s economic and financial reforms, noting their positive impact, which he said has started to manifest.
He also underscored the Senate’s crucial role as a representative body of all provinces in addressing the country’s economic challenges.
Highlighting the government’s efforts for Balochistan, Syedaal Khan commended initiatives aimed at creating employment opportunities and empowering the province’s youth.
He encouraged young people to channel their energy and talents toward contributing to Pakistan’s economic and social development, ensuring a holistic approach to national progress.
