Committee urges UN to play its proactive role to resolve Kashmir issue

ISLAMABAD, April 29 (APP): Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan has said that United Nations should play its proactive role to resolve the Kashmir issue under its resolutions.

The committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Senator Professor Sajid Mir at Parliament House.

The committee Chairman Senator Professor Sajid Mir said region would be in the grip of uncertainty and confrontation as long as Kashmir issue is not resolved in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
