4116 employees working in PTV in various grades, cadres: Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD, April 15 (APP): Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Friday said that 4116 employees were working in PTV in different grades and cadres.

Replaying to a question in the Senate, the minister said that employees working against the sanctioned posts in Pakistan Television (PTV) were sufficient to cope with the work-load.

He said PTV was a national institution and it has vast coverage across the country while its working hours were more than private channels.
