FATA University VC for stronger inter-university cooperation
PESHAWAR, Sep 24 (APP):FATA University Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Mohsin Nawaz on Thursday stressed the need for sustained interaction and practical collaboration among universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to improve higher education, research and institutional development.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Hazara University Mansehra VC Prof Dr Ikramullah Khan and Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) VC Prof Dr Syed Zafar Ilyas, who visited FATA University.
The meeting agreed to translate existing inter-university contacts into practical joint initiatives, including academic and research activities, faculty development programmes and opportunities for students.
The participants also agreed to explore joint seminars, conferences and workshops, collaborative research projects and exchange of academic expertise and institutional resources among the three universities.
Prof Dr Mohsin Nawaz said continued collaboration and sharing of experience among universities could create new opportunities for academic excellence, research and innovation.
The visiting VCs welcomed the initiative and expressed their interest in further strengthening academic and research linkages among the institutions.
