Mirpur (AJK), Jan 20 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Chaudhry Monday said that welfare of a common man in the State was his government’s top priority.
He added that resources have also been diverted for the welfare of marginalized sections of society.
The PM was talking to former member AJK Council Raja Babar Ali Zulqarnain who called on him at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis, said a press release.
Both the leaders discussed, in length, the issues of public interest including projects of progress and prosperity in the constituency of Bhimbher district.
Biometrics have been made mandatory to ensure hundred percent attendance of staff and employees in all government offices”, the PM said.
Installation of biometric devices, he said, would improve departmental performance besides helping people to seek instant redressal of their grievances.
He said that a historic health package has also been announced.
“God willing, a comprehensive education package will also be announced soon that will revolutionize the education sector”, he remarked. He said that everyone should keep close vigil on development projects.

Former member of the Kashmir Council Raja Babar Ali Zulqarnain, on the occasion, appreciated the PM’s people-friendly initiatives.
