PESHAWAR, Apr 09 (APP):A delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa met with Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Science and Information Technology, here at his office.
A press release issued here on Wednesday said that the meeting focused on ongoing and future development projects in the fields of science and information technology, digital transformation, and potential areas of mutual cooperation in the province.
Shafqat Ayaz appreciated UNDP’s efforts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing that their collaboration would contribute to technological advancement, employment opportunities for youth, and overall economic growth in the province.
He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment, under the vision of Chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, to promoting modern research and innovation in science and technology.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening international partnerships to further these objectives.
The UNDP delegation assured full support and cooperation in advancing science and technology in the province.
They expressed optimism that this collaboration would open new avenues for development and progress in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
