WAH CANTT, Sep 20 (APP):Police arrested two suspected drug suppliers in separate operations in Taxila and Wah and recovered more than 9kg of hashish from their possession, police said on Sunday.

Taxila police arrested an alleged major drug supplier and recovered 5.5kg of hashish from him. During preliminary interrogation, the suspect allegedly disclosed that he had been supplying narcotics in different areas, including around educational institutions.

In a separate operation, Saddar Wah police arrested another suspected drug supplier and recovered 3.6kg of hashish from his possession.

Police said cases had been registered against the suspects and further investigation was under way.
