RAWALPINDI, Oct 25 (APP): Taxila Police on Wednesday arrested three bike lifters and recovered three stolen motorcycles from their possession.
A police spokesman said that a team under the supervision of SHO, Taxila Police Station managed to net the two bike lifters, identified as Habib Shah, the ringleader, Sher Khan, and Gohar Khan. The police also recovered three stolen motorcycles, a rickshaw, a mobile phone, two batteries, Rs 9500 cash, and other items from their possession.
A case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. Superintendent of Police, Potohar, Muhammad Waqas Khan said that the accomplices and facilitators of the accused would also be sent behind bars.
He added that the operation against bike and car lifters would be further accelerated
