PESHAWAR, Jan 12 (APP):A snow Jeep race get started in the cold and beautiful Kalam velley of Swat district on Sunday.
The race was jointly organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority and Frontier 4×4 Club.
Muhammad Saad, spokesman for the Tourism Authority, said on Sunday that the Pakistan Army and Upper Swat Development Authority were also assisting in the Jeep race.
Over 40 jeeps, driven by male and female drivers, were taking part in the event on a 4 kilometre-long race track.
The jeep race consisted of four categories including 2500 CC, 2500CC to Open, Vintage and lady drivers.
Scores of spectators were present at the venue to witness the opening ceremony and thrilling race on a treacherous and snowy track.
