SARGODHA, Mar 17 (APP):A seminar and awareness walk were organized by the Women Development Centre at the University of Sargodha in which faculty members, students and others from different departments participated.
The center is playing a key role in providing important training centers such as workshops on mental and physical health, career development center, online educational facilities,
digital literacy and foreign special literacy to the students. So far, more than 3000 students have been taught various skills.
Dr Nargis Abbas highlighting the importance of women empowerment, in her opening speech, called education and awareness for women indispensable and stressed on taking more steps regarding the education of girls, their professional training and legal protection.
In the seminar, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mian Ghulam Yasin, as the chief guest, addressed the participants of the ceremony and stressed the need to bring positive change in the lives of women and provide equal opportunities and resources to women for national development.
