CHICHAWATNI, Jul 12 (APP):Rescue 1122 in Sahiwal has released an emergency plan to manage the upcoming Muharram in the district on Friday.
According to Rescue 1122, The emergency plan was discussed during a special meeting of Rescue 1122, chaired by District Emergency Officer Dr. Khalid Abdullah.
During the meeting, a briefing was provided on the comprehensive emergency plan for Muharram.
As part of the plan, the holidays of all Rescue 1122 personnel in the district have been cancelled. Instead, the staff will be assigned duties to respond to any emergencies or untoward incidents during the Muharram period.
Addressing the media, Dr. Khalid Abdullah, the District Emergency Officer, stated that Rescue 1122 is working around the clock to serve the people of Sahiwal.
He noted that there are specific areas within Sahiwal and Tehsil Chichawatani where large crowds are expected to gather during Muharram.
Addressing the Rescue 1122 staff, Dr. Abdullah urged them to perform their duties with utmost patriotism and alertness.
He stressed that in case of any emergency, the rescue teams should strive to reach the scene in the minimum response time while keeping the special safety protocols in mind.
The District Emergency Officer emphasized that public service remains the top priority for Rescue 1122 and the organization is always prepared to fulfill this duty.
