LAHORE, Jan 16 (APP):The Punjab Home Department has moved the entire firearm license modification process online to enhance convenience for citizens.
According to the spokesperson,citizens can apply online for changes in firearm bore, category modifications, requests for additional ammunition, inheritance transfer of licenses, duplicate licenses, sale of existing firearms and extension of license validity across Pakistan.
With the new system, people will no longer need to visit offices for firearm license-related tasks. All necessary documents, as well as legal fees, can now be submitted online.
The spokesperson said that all related paperwork and fees for modifications to firearm licenses can be processed through the online platform.
This online module has been developed under the Punjab Arms Rules 2023 in collaboration with NADRA. Citizens can apply online through the link [http://pal.nadra.gov.pk/pal]
The department has issued a letter to all deputy commissioners instructing them to inform citizens seeking firearm license modifications about the new online system.
