Minister Gorchani hails security arrangements on Youm-e-Ashura

DG KHAN, Jul 17 (APP): Provincial Minister for Minerals Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani said on Wednesday that excellent security measures had been ensured across Punjab for Ashura.
During his visit to different areas of the city to check the security arrangements, he praised the administration for their commendable efforts in ensuring foolproof arrangements in Dera Ghazi Khan district as well as division. He maintained that the situation across the division on Ashura is under control.
Sardar Ali Sher Gorchani expressed gratitude to all relevant stakeholders for their contributions towards harmony and unity among masses on Ashura. He appreciated the cooperation of the caretakers of Imambargahs, license holders and organizers with the administration. He further emphasized that strict action would be taken against elements attempting to disrupt the peace during Muharram, adding that they were fully alert to handle any situations.
