KP CM takes notice of Bannu situation, sought report: Barrister Saif

PESHAWAR, Jul 19 (APP): Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Friday took notice of the ongoing situation in Bannu district and sought report of the incident.
In a statement, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information Barrister Dr Muhammad Ali Saif said that the chief minister was personally monitoring the ongoing situation in Bannu.
He said that Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Bannu was making negotiations with protestors and situation was under-control after talks with the elders.
The chief minister announced package for deceased and injured of the incident and directed best medical facilities to the injured.
He said that complete investigation of the incident would be made and strict punishment would be awarded to the responsible.
Barrister Saif said that peaceful protest was constitutional and legal right of every citizen, however nobody would be allowed to take law into hands under the guise of protest. He appealed to the people to remain peaceful and avoid taking law into hands.
