PESHAWAR, Jul 29 (APP): Jamrud Police conducted two successful operations against narcotics, foiling an attempt to smuggle ice via car and motorcycle, and arrested four suspects.
According to details, police recovered 5kg of ice from hidden compartments of a car and 2400 grams of ice from motorcyclists. The total amount of the seized drug weighed 7.4kg.
District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber, Saleem Abbass Kulachi appreciated the performance of the police team and said that the crackdown against drug smugglers would continue as per the instructions of the provincial government.
Cases under the Narcotics Law have been registered against the arrested smugglers, who are currently being interrogated.
