KARACHI, Aug 13 (APP):Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Tessori has said this year, the Independence Day would be celebrated with a renewed resolve to rebuild the country and ensure stability.
In an interview with APP, Sindh Governor said as a result of the struggle of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions, the Muslims of the sub-continent became a free nation.
Describing this year as the year of Pakistan’s development on the occasion of Independence Day, the Governor said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Ms. Fatima Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan and other leaders of Pakistan Movement are the “role models and national heroes”.
He said that by following the footsteps of the founder of Pakistan, “we have to carry forward his efforts so that the country can achieve development goals”.
“We all have to make commitment of bringing stability in the country so that Pakistan could become a stable country,” the Governor said.
Tessori expressed hope that the dream of national stability could only be materialized through collective efforts
