QUETTA, Aug 09 (APP): Provincial Secretary Agriculture Muhammad Dawood Bazai on Friday said that the Balochistan government was bringing Kisan Card which would benefit farmers across the province.
He said this while discussing the performance of the department on the occasion of his visit to Musakhail.
Director General Agriculture Balochistan Muhammad Nadeem Irshad, Director Information Agriculture Balochistan Abdul Karim Jafar, Dr. Habibullah Shah, Zamindaran Union District Musakhail President Nooruddin Khan, Maulvi Sirajuddin, Malik Abdullah, Sardar Asad and others were also present on this occasion.
President of Zamindars Musakhail Nooruddin Khan briefed the Secretary about the problems being faced by farmers.
He said that the soil of Musakhail district was suitable for all kinds of crops and trees.
The Secretary said that an herb was naturally produced in Musakhail district which was called (carrot plant) due to this, the lands of Musakhail were becoming barren.
He said that the Department of Agriculture has taken steps to eradicate the farming of weed. Mr, Dawood Bazai assured the landlords that all available resources would be utilized to solve the problems of the farmers.
