KARACHI, Dec 05 (APP):Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori stated that the Japan Self-Defense Forces represent peace, security, and global harmony and further praised their commendable role in United Nations peace missions.
The governor expressed these views while attending the 70th-anniversary celebration of Japan Self-Defense Forces Day, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
Earlier, he was warmly received by the Ambassador of Japan, Akamatsu, and Takano Shuichi.
The event was attended by diplomats from various countries and distinguished guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Tessori emphasized the strong and enduring relationship between Japan and Pakistan.
He paid tribute to the members of Japan Self-Defense Forces, acknowledging their dedication and discipline.
He added that the hardworking and progressive spirit of the Japanese nation serves as an inspiring example for others.
