HYDERABAD, Oct 02 (APP):The Pakistan Peoples Party’s former MNA Syed Ameer Ali Shah Jamote, who was elected thrice to the National Assembly from Hyderabad, passed away here on Monday.
He was 82 years old.
According to the family sources, the deceased was fighting with ailments in the last days of his life.
Jamote was elected MNA in 2002, 2008 and 2013 from Qasimabad taluka and Hyderabad taluka based constituency of the National Assembly.
He was succeeded by his son Syed Tariq Shah Jamote as the MNA from the same constituency in 2018 general election.
He will be laid to rest at his native village in Matiari district while the bereaved family will receive condolences at their residence in Latifabad.
