FAISALABAD, Apr 09 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Nadeem Nasir chaired a meeting here on Wednesday to review implementation of Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) schemes under the annual development programme.
The meeting reviewed 14 proposed schemes under the new development package 2024-25. The meeting was informed that 97 per cent work on nine schemes had almost been completed while three others were being completed with foreign aid and 80 per cent work on those schemes had also been completed.
The meeting was also briefed on the progress made on the construction of disposal stations.
The deputy commissioner said that work on urgent public welfare schemes should be completed on a war-footing basis. He ordered for completing ongoing work on Susan Road on priority basis.
