GIlGIT, Jan 22 (APP):Gilgit-Baltistan government spokesperson Faizullah Faraq has announced that Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan has departed for a 10-day official visit to the United States.
Accompanying the Chief Minister are Provincial Minister for Tourism Ghulam Muhammad, Provincial Minister for Planning Raja Nasir Ali Khan, and Additional Chief Secretary Captain (R) Muhammad Mushtaq.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to land in Houston tonight.
During his visit, he will meet with a high-level delegation of investors in New York to discuss opportunities for positive investment in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Additionally, the Chief Minister will hold meetings with various delegations from the Gilgit-Baltistan community in New York.
He will also participate in and address a roadshow highlighting the vast potential of the tourism sector in the region.
The purpose of this visit is to strengthen the tourism industry in Gilgit-Baltistan and promote large-scale investments in the region.
