LAHORE, Jul 25 (APP):Lahore Arts Council Alhamra to celebrate Pakistan’s 77th Independence day with great national enthusiasm and zeal.
In a recent review meeting, all cultural bodies discussed the preparations for the celebrations, and a decision was made to pay homage to selfless heroes of the freedom movement.
The participants of the meeting said that timeless sacrifices of the martyrs, who gave their lives for the creation of Pakistan, would be honored.
Alhamra Chairman Razi Ahmed, emphasised that initiatives were being undertaken for cultural development to safeguard our values, distinct identity, and recognition.
Alhamra Executive Director, Sarah Rashid, highlighted that the younger generation would be introduced to the principles laid down by their leaders.
The profound messages of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the poet of the East, Allama Iqbal, and other prominent leaders would be brought to light.
Executive Director of Punjab Arts Council Ghulam Saghir Shahid, Director General of PILAC Bina Shah Fatima, and several others attended the meeting.
