FAISALABAD, Jul 09 (APP):The police claimed to have arrested seven active members of three dacoit gangs and recovered 3 motorcycles, cash, illicit weapons and other items from their possession during last 12 hours.
Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that Sub Inspector (SI) Rana Rizwan Javaid, incharge police post Gulfishan Colony, on a tip-off conducted raid near Ansari Park and nabbed two dacoits including Muhammad Ali and Ashiq Ali residents of Satwan Meel who were wanted to the police in a number of dacoity and other cases. The police recovered motorcycle, cash and illicit pistols from their possession and locked them behind bars.
Meanwhile, ASI Riyasat Ali conducted raid near Tilanwala Graveyard Raza Abad and arrested three outlaws of a dacoit gang including Shehzad Ishtiaq, Muhammad Ramzan residents of Jameel Park Kokianwala and Sohail Ali resident of Lahore. The police recovered one motorcycle, illicit weapons and other items from their possession while further investigation was under progress.
Similarly, Incharge police post Chak 208/R-B Muhammad Imran also arrested two active members of another dacoit gang including Adnan Abbas and Asif Ali resident of Tayyab Town Chak 204/R-B. The police recovered one motorcycle, gold ornaments, cash, illegal weapons and other items from their possession and started investigation after locking them behind bars, spokesman added.
