FAISALABAD, Sep 18 (APP):The district administration, during a crackdown on hoarders, seized 3,930 bags of sugar and 650 bags of wheat flour from different warehouses during the last one month.
In a briefing session arranged here on Monday, Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyer Sheikh said that the assistant commissioner and price control magistrates started conducting 688 raids from August 1 and registered 14 cases against hoarders, sealed 11 godowns and arrested three accused besides imposing Rs 722,500 fine during the period.
