ISLAMABAD, Jan 06 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police apprehended 15 outlaws involved in different criminal activities including drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons recovered weapons and drug from their possession.
A public relation officer told APP that the ICT Police Aabpara, Margalla, Shalimar, Golra, Sumbal, Sihala, Lohi Bher, Sabzi Mandi, Shams Colony and Bhara Kahu police stations teams took legal action against accused involved in drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons and arrested 13accused.
Police teams also recovered 526 bottles of wine, 1,120 grams hashish, 1,038 grams heroin, six pistols with ammunition and a dagger from their possession. Moreover, two absconders were also arrested from various areas of the city during the last 24 hours.
SSP Operation/Investigations Muhammad Arslan Shah Zaib said that the Islamabad Police is actively working to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital, emphasizing that no one will be allowed to disrupt citizens’ peace. Protecting the lives, property, and dignity of citizens is the Islamabad Police’s top priority.
