RAWALPINDI, Jan 10 (APP):Rawalpindi police in an action against suspected drug peddlers and bootleggers on Friday arrested 11 accused besides recovering over seven kg drugs, 30 liters liquor and other items from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that Westridge, Pirwadhai, Taxila, Wah Cantt and Airport police conducted raids in their respective jurisdiction and arrested Shakeel, Farooq, Sajid, Imam Shah, Hamad, Yasir and a female drug peddler and recovered over seven kg drugs.
In other raids, Waris Khan, Civil Lines, Jatli and Dhamial police arrested four bootleggers namely Yasir, Naveed, Syedan Haider, and Amir Waqas and recovered 30 liters liquor from their possession.
Separate cases have been registered against all the accused while further investigations are underway.
