ISLAMABAD, Nov 23 (APP): Pakistan Consul General Hussain Muhammad on Saturday commended “Pakistanis in Dubai” (PID) for its evolution from a social media platform into a hub that united the Pakistani diaspora in the United Arab Emirates.  

He congratulated “PID” and its 200,000 members for their remarkable achievement. 

The consul general was speaking as a chief guest at an event hosted by Pakistanis in Dubai (PID) for reaching 200,000 members. The event titled “PID Business Summit”, held in Ajman, was attended by Pakistani community members, business leaders, and entrepreneurs, a press release said.

The consul general applauded the administrators of the platform for their dedication and suggested exploring the creation of a data bank of the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE to enhance engagement and collaboration. 

Hussain acknowledged the significant contributions of the Pakistani community to the UAE’s economy, culture, and social fabric.  

He also highlighted the recent initiatives such as the establishment of the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah, which aimed to foster economic growth and collaboration. He expressed deep gratitude to the UAE leadership for their business-friendly environment and support for the Pakistani community.

He encouraged the community to continue working together to uplift one another and promote the best of Pakistan on a global stage.
