KARACHI, Jul 12 (APP):Six ships, Hyundai Hong Kong, APL Le Havre, Sara, Hanyu Freesia, Carol and Top Fortune scheduled to load/offloadContainer, Rice, Chemicals, LPG and Coal, berthed at QICT Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Terminal, Sui Southern Gas Terminal and Bulk Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile three more ships, Maersk Pelepas, Roan Teresa and Houyoshi Park are also arrived at outer-anchorage of the Port Qasim on same day.
Eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers carrier ‘Hyundai Hong Kong’ left the port on today morning while three more ships, APL Le Havre, Hanyu Fressia and Toxotis are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 143,325 tonnes, comprising 81,470 tonnes imports cargo and 61,855 tonnes export cargo carried in 4,038 Containers (1,369 TEUs Imports and 2,669 TEUs export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Six ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them a chemicals carrier ‘Raon Teresa’ is expected to take berths at Engro Vopak Terminal on Friday, while anothercontainers ship ‘MSC Positano’ is due to arrive at Port Qasim on Saturday.
