ISLAMABAD, Apr 18 (APP):Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Akif Saeed and Commissioner SECP Muzzaffar Ahmed Mirza visited Jazz headquarters, underscoring a shared commitment to accelerate the digital transformation of Pakistan’s economy.
The discussion focused on strengthening public-private collaboration to digitise the economy and formalise the SME sector, both critical to unlocking sustainable growth, said a news release.
The SECP leadership commended Jazz’s pioneering role in digital financial services and its far-reaching efforts in promoting financial inclusion across the country.
From Jazz and VEON, the meeting was attended by Aamir Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer, Jazz; Farrukh Khan, Chief Financial Officer, Jazz; Saima Kamila Khan, Chief Legal Officer, Jazz; and Burak Özer, Group Chief Financial Officer, VEON.
