ISLAMABAD, June 3 (APP): The government has allocated Rs 271 million for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2016-17.
According to the budgetary document released here on Friday, an amount of Rs 231 million has been allocated for the ongoing schemes while Rs 40 million for new schemes.
Among the ongoing schemes, Rs 131 million has been allocated for the establishment of National Radiological Emergency Coordination Center and Rs 100 million for PNRA Residential Colony at Chashma, Dictrict Mianwali, Kundian.
An amount of 271 million has been earmarked for the new schemes of Capacity Building in Design Assessment and Analysis to Ensure Safety of Advance Nuclear Power Plants in Pakistan.
